from a chord progression i wrote in late 2016
this is the first song ive ever screamed on
lyrics
between my divisiveness, and your indecisiveness
you wouldent think we'd get along, but lets prove everybody wrong
*scream*
your face imprinted in my head, im pretty sure you want me dead
you wouldent think we'd get along, but lets prove everybody wrong
we've got a lot to figure out x2
whats wrong with you, whats wrong with me
we've got a lot to figure out
you move through life like its nothing
i freak out from anything
you wouldent think we'd get along, but lets prove everybody wrong
we've got a lot to figure out x2
whats wrong with you, whats wrong with me
we've got a lot to figure out
between us
between the two of us
between us
into the future cannot see, youll be chasing after me, wouldent think we'd get along, lets prove everybody wrong
into the future cannot see, youll be chasing after me, didnt think we'd get along, lets prove everybody wrong
Irish act Perlee used lockdown time to develop demos into this raw, but lovely collection of tuneful alternative folk songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 27, 2020
The Seams' jangly pop is full of lovely melodic twists and elegant turns-of-phrases delineating the quotidian details of love and romance. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2018
The title track pulled me into Slow Crush's orbit, but Tremble held me there - alongside Lull from the Hush LP and the whole of Seasurfer's Dive In, it can send me into an altered state of consciousness. The album vibrates with hints and nudges, from Slowdive twangs to a Corgan-esque chord shift, but Slow Crush are their own sound - thick, dark melodic, etherealistic soundscapes with Isa Holliday's vocals both binding the music and rising above it. One of the best bands in years. sentientpoet
